CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Verizon-Cellular Plus is helping students prepare to go back to school. The company plans to give out free backpacks this Saturday at each store location.

The backpacks are filled with various school supplies students may need for the upcoming year. Backpacks are distributed on a first come-first serve basis. Your child must be present in order to receive a backpack.

Cellular Plus is still accepting donations.

“It takes a great company, a great community, and donations from out community. Our employees donated. We’ve had donations in the communities to help support the cause. Many of our vendors have supported it and donated. So it just takes...it’s a big group effort,” said Sarah Gonsior, the assistant store manager at Cellular Plus on 2nd Street.

The event will last from ten to noon.
