Santa Rosa, CA – May 22, 2020 – The Public Hearing to consider increasing the annual sewer service charge provided by and scheduled for the Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Sonoma County Water Agency on behalf of the Sanitation Zones of Airport-Larkfield-Wikiup, Geyserville, Penngrove, and Sea Ranch, and the Boards of the County Sanitation Districts of Occidental, Russian River, Sonoma Valley, and South Park that was previously scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 8:30AM has been continued until Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 1:30 PM.

Due to the pandemic, the June 9, 2020 Board of Directors meeting will be held virtually. MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC MAY NOT ATTEND THIS MEETING IN PERSON. Information regarding public online participation will be available on the Board's agenda 72 hours prior to the meeting at https://sonoma-county.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx

Written protests on the proposed rate increases must be received by (NOT postmarked) no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the mailing address on the form. Property owners in the Sanitation Districts and Zones previously received a written notice of a sewer rate increase, which included a written protest form. The June 9, 2020 Board of Supervisors Meeting will be facilitated virtually through Zoom. Members of the public can watch or listen to the meeting using several methods, which are available at https://sonoma-county.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx

PUBLIC COMMENT PRIOR TO THE BOARD MEETING:

Public Comment may be submitted via recorded voice message or email.

VOICE RECORDED PUBLIC COMMENT: To submit public comment via recorded message, please call 707-691-0174 by 5pm Monday, June 8th. State your name and the item number(s) on which you wish to speak. The recordings will be limited to two minutes. These comments may be played at the appropriate time during the Board meeting.

EMAIL PUBLIC COMMENT: To submit an emailed public comment to the Board email bos@sonoma-county.org. Please provide your name, the agenda number(s) on which you wish to speak, and your comment. These comments will be emailed to all Board members.

PUBLIC COMMENT DURING THE BOARD MEETING:

PUBLIC COMMENT USING ZOOM: Members of the public who join the Zoom meeting, either through the Zoom app or by calling in, will be able to provide live public comment at specific points throughout the meeting.

EMAIL PUBLIC COMMENT: One may also email public comment to bos@sonoma-county.org throughout the meeting. All emailed public comments will be forwarded to all Board Members.
