HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Thursday marks the 7th year for Give Hastings Day.
It's a 24-hour online giving event, helping raise money for 91 nonprofits in the Hastings and Adams County area.
Give Hastings Day asks community members to make donations to show support for the local nonprofit organizations that positively impact our lives every day.
All you have to do is go to GiveHastings.org. From there, you can click on nonprofits and scroll through the different organizations participating.
The minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum so it's easy for anyone and everyone to participate.
But due to directed health measures, the Hastings Community Foundation is asking people not to bring donations to their office, like previous years.
Giving opened on April 20 and will conclude at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.
