Cloudy cool weather dominated the Ozarks today! The cloud cover should stick around for most of the night. This should help keep lows in the mid 50′s Monday morning.
Clearing takes place early Monday leading to a very nice day! Temperatures will warm nicely under a mostly sunny sky. Highs should reach the mid 70′s.
Unfortunately the upper low drops to Mississippi and then slowly begins to return north. Moisture wrapping around the low will bring cloud cover back to the Ozarks on Tuesday. Lows win the morning should settle to the low to mid 50′s. Highs may only warm back to around 70.
Rain showers are possible on Wednesday as the center of the low drifts into the area. The thick cloud cover should help hold highs to the upper 60′s and low 70′s. This feature than rapidly lifts off to the northeast and will be replaced by a ridge of high pressure.
Rapid warming should take place with highs jumping back to the mid and upper 70′s on Thursday. Readings may reach the low 80′s on Friday. Next weekend right now is looking very nice with sunshine and highs in the mid 80′s. The only issue I see right now is that the winds will get a bit gusty with peak wind gusts of 25 mph. The warm weather should last the entire weekend.
