President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called on international partners to continue supporting Ukraine amid the country's constitutional crisis. The head of state wrote about this in the article "You cannot allow the Ukrainian courts to throw away anti-corruption achievements" for the Financial Times.

“In this difficult time, I call on all Ukrainian political forces that advocate for reforms and civil society to unite and cooperate in this struggle for the future of our nation. I also call on our international partners and allies to continue to support us and prove the wrong of those who are trying to prevent our cooperation and disrupt it," the article says.

According to the president, the recent court ruling "is part of a systematic effort to undermine the rule of law, counter the progress made in our fight against corruption, weaken society and the economy and, last but not least, to stop Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration."

Earlier Zelensky called the scandalous decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the abolition of a number of provisions of anti-corruption legislation as a manifestation of a conspiracy of old elites and oligarchs against the head of state and country.

Constitutional Court of Ukraine recognized the unconstitutional provision on criminal liability for declaring false information, which caused criticism from both law enforcement and control bodies. According to the decision of the court, criminal liability for declaring false information is "excessive punishment" for a person.

The President of Ukraine, in turn, said that the electronic income declaration system will continue to operate despite the decision of the Constitutional Court, and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has restored public access to the registers of declarations of officials and MPs.

President of Ukraine introduced draft law No. 4288 to the Verkhovna Rada, which proposes to deprive the judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine of their powers and restore the law on declaration that they had canceled.
