BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Governor John Bel Edwards will address the state during a news conference Thursday, Sept. 9.

The Governor is expected to give an update on Louisiana’s response to Hurricane Ida, a category 4 storm that made landfall Aug. 29.

The news conference begins at 3:30 p.m.
