Kathy Martin is a registered nurse and former social worker, so she understands what these children may be going through or feeling. She wants to make sure they have enough things to keep them entertained and occupied.
"I'm more concerned of the mental health component do they have toys, do they have activities, do we need to get them books in Spanish, things like that to make their experience maybe a little less traumatic", said Martin.
