COLUMBUS, Ohio – After announcing that Ohioans age 16 and older can slip in to receive coronavirus vaccines if there are leftover doses, Gov. Mike DeWine is having an update on the state’s response to the pandemic Thursday afternoon.
On Monday morning, the eligibly will include everyone, including people in the younger age groups, which means that people will be able to sign up for shots, regardless of their age.
Watch DeWine’s 2 p.m. coronavirus briefing below, broadcast by the Ohio Channel.
Lt. Gov. Jon Husted will also be present at the briefing.
As of Wednesday, there have been 1,004,670 coronavirus cases; 18,382 Ohioans have died with the virus.
