Today (Tuesday, March 16), Michigan State University will hold Give Green Day – its annual day of giving. For Spartans everywhere, Give Green Day is a 24-hour opportunity to financially support and enhance the experience for current and future MSU students.
Please join us on Give Green Day to empower opportunities for our more than 700 MSU student-athletes by contributing to the varsity sport of your choice or our unrestricted fund – which helps meet the most pressing needs of the athletic department. Generous donors have stepped up to match contributions (up to the listed total) made on Give Green Day to the sports listed below.
- $6,700: Wrestling
- $10,000: Baseball
- $10,000: Rowing
- $12,500: Men's track & field
- $12,500: Women's track & field
- $12,500: Men's cross country
- $12,500: Women's cross country
Challenges
An anonymous donor will also contribute a $10,000 gift to the varsity sport that has the most donors contributing. Gifts of even $1 will count as one (1) donor contributing.
- $10,000: Team that has the highest number of donors on that day
