The March housing market showed continued continued trends for the Greater Owensboro REALTOR Association, with home sales on the rise and days on market declining.
The average sold price for March was $189,237 sales volume totaled $28.7 million — increases of 18% and 28%, respectively, from March 2020. Days on market continued to shrink, coming in at 63 days compared to 84 last March.
A total of 152 homes were sold in March, with 239 sales pending. The current inventory of homes remains low, with fewer than 140 active listings.

“Our local real estate market continues to show signs of strength in March,” said Jason Bellamy, President of GO REALTORS. “If you have a home to sell, this is a great time to offer your home on the market.”
