Tuesday will see snow mostly between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the metro area. Denver will be cloudy all day with a high of 26 and less than one inch of snow accumulation, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
A 30% chance of snow, mainly before 8 p.m., persists overnight. The sky will gradually clear with a low temperature of 10 degrees.
Total snowfall accumulations will be an inch or less in most areas across the plains. Elbert and Lincoln counties could see a few inches of snow. Across the higher terrain, snow will fall in the 1-3 inch range.
A warming and drying trend will begin Wednesday. It will be sunny downtown, with a high temperature of 44. Overnight it will remain clear with a low of 23 degrees.
Thursday will be sunny and clear, ranging from a high of 55 degrees to a low of 23 in the metro area.
An early look at the weekend forecast shows the weather should be in the 50s under clear skies.
