Last year, the Mocs Club called on the UTC community to step up and give back through their second annual Drive for 25 campaign. The campaign was a success – resulting in $28,000 raised, 242 gifts, and 118 brand new donors. One hundred percent of each contribution went to providing the resources necessary to enhance the Moc student-athlete experience.
This year the stakes are higher, and the need is even greater. The Covid-19 pandemic has created tremendous upheaval across the college athletics industry and UTC faces large financial obstacles. While our student-athletes may not be competing in a full schedule this fall, we still must provide them with the resources to be successful in the classroom while remaining safe and healthy as they train for their sports. The Mocs Club aims to raise $200,000 with 350 donations.
The Mocs Fly Together fund provides multiple ways to participate in Mocs Give Day. This year's campaign offers several opportunities for donors to have their generous gifts matched and double their impact on student-athletes. Donors are also able to make restricted donations to the sport of their choice.
