COLUMBUS, Ohio – Gov. Mike DeWine is expected to provide an update to the state’s coronavirus response Thursday afternoon, including releasing a new COVID-19 map that shows the severity of the infection in each of Ohio’s 88 counties.
Last week, a whopping 29 Ohio counties were Level 3, or level red. Residents in red counties represented 65% of the state’s population. It was the highest number of red counties since the state began the weekly mapping system in July.
“There’s a red tide flowing all over the state of Ohio,” DeWine had said when he unveiled last week’s map.
