INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — County officials will give another update on the local response to COVID-19.
The 3 p.m. briefing will be livestreamed on Youtube and Facebook from the Indian River County Commission chambers, 1801 27th St., Vero Beach. A recording of the update will be posted on the county's website and broadcast through the weekend.
County COVID-19 cases continue to increase. The county recorded a record-single day increase on Thursday, with 28 new cases, bringing the total of recorded positive cases to 284. There have been 12 deaths within the county associated with COVID-19.

Last week, officials urged people to continue social distancing and wearing face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
