A 19-year-old Sedalia man charged with a drug-related felony after a reported incident earlier this month in Cooper County had his case continued.
A Cooper County Deputy’s report says on June 8 authorities were dispatched to the area of Wildlife Road and Northbridge in Otterville in reference to a physical disturbance where 19-year-old Marcos Achiquen-Aleman reportedly under the influence of narcotics and asking people to do harm to him.
When deputies located Achiquen-Aleman and took him into custody, he told deputies he was under the influence of illegal drugs. Deputies located what they say fit the description of an LSD-type drug when they searched his vehicle.
Achiquen-Aleman also reportedly spit on a medic on the scene while being checked out.
Achiquen-Aleman has been charged with a Class D Felony for Possession of a Controlled Substance and a misdemeanor for assault of a special victim. He posted surety bond on Monday, June 15.
Achiquen-Aleman appeared in court the following day without counsel and the court scheduled a counsel status hearing in the case for 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14 at Cooper County Circuit Court.
